Stephen Parry

Stephen Parry trained at Croydon College of Art 1974-1977, Dartington Pottery Workshop 1977-1979, and in France using wood fired kilns. He set up his present pottery in Norfolk in 1981 making a range of domestic ware and one-off pots, using both stoneware and porcelain clays. Glazes are made from different types of woodash. Pots are fired in a 120 cubic feet crossdraft wood-fired kiln to 1300 degrees Celsius.

Stephen is a part time lecturer at Camberwell College of Arts, teaching throwing and kiln building.
