Two Painters / Five Ceramicists

We are delighted to be showing  the work of seven women artists - Two Painters/Five Ceramicists.

TWO PAINTERS

We have shown Liz Churton's work before but only in a limited way. This is the first opportunity to see a body of her work and appreciate her lanscape inspired paintings, which are expressive media-based responses to colour and form.

           

Jenny Hirst's works are atmosphereic senosory paintings, depicting a sense of place through an expressive but technically adept use of an almost monochromatic palette. The underlying structure allows a freedom of media which is built upon strong drahghtsmanship.
